electric superchargers

Electric superchargers are the most cost effective way to add forced induction to your vehicle. We have extensively tested every manufacturers electric superchargers kits and every electric supercharger has given us some form of performance enhancement!

Where The Performance Comes From

Electric superchargers rely on the same method turbo and superchargers do; forced induction. Forced induction is essentially increasing the density of air beyond that of the atmospheric air coming into your engine. The lower the temperature of this air combined with the extra volume of it results in higher performance gains due to the additional combustion that can occur inside of the motor; these are what electric superchargers can do for you. Electric superchargers will provide both cool and compressed air into the engine, without adding the extra work and cost involved in a turbo or supercharged application. Electric superchargers require no intercooling, which is recommended for conventional forced induction setups.

More CFM, More Performance

Electric superchargers, turbochargers, and superchargers are all rated in CFM, which is the amount of air they allow to flow they provide, in this case it’s into the engine. To give you an idea of the output of a turbo on a stock vehicle, the turbine of an Audi 1.8T offers 400 CFM. The best electric superchargers kits flow 250-300 CFM but don’t let these lower numbers fool you! Vehicles that are turbo or supercharged from the factory come with lower internal compression, therefore the CFM the motor creates internally is less and therefore made up by the addition of a turbo or supercharger. Electric superchargers will provide a higher compression engine, with cool, dense air that will give more horsepower at a superior value to turbo or supercharging!

What We’ve Seen

We have installed electric superchargers from a variety of manufacturers onto a number of different car makes and models. Some of the results have been simply astounding; certain vehicles have reached up to 100 horsepower over stock with addition of 300+ CFM electric superchargers and a performance chip! Vehicles that have a cold air intake and exhaust will also see greater gains upon installing electric superchargers. These electric supercharger equipped vehicles also required less maintenance and servicing than those that we added conventional turbo or supercharger setups to. Want the extra power without the giveaway sound of conventional forced induction? Don’t worry; electric superchargers kits we applied, produced FAR LESS noise than addition of a turbo or supercharger to a vehicle! The constant power provided when wiring electric superchargers into an ignition-based source was nice because the extra power provided by the electric supercharger was there all the time, unlike having to wait for the spool of a turbo charger! Unlike a supercharger the instant power electric superchargers gave came at far less cost, making our verdict this; electric superchargers are a MUST when looking to add forced induction at an economically wise cost!
